The speaker for the July 17, 2007 meeting was David Briggs, the subject of the program was "Champ Clark & Bennett Clark", a father & son duo, Missourians, both influential in early 20th century politics

At our June 19th, 2007 meeting, Jane Jackson from Cape Girardeau County Archives was our featured speaker and she spoke regarding the Lewis & Clark Expedition and the tie-in to Scott County upon their return to Missouri.

At our meeting on the evening of May 15th, 2007, Dr. Frank Nickell, director of the Southeast Missouri State University Center for Regional History was our speaker and the title of his presentation was

"Safari in Southeast Missouri"

 

 

Regular Monthly Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Scott County Courthouse (or in the Riverside Regional Library in Benton, Missouri.  It is located on Highway 61.  It is handicap accessible). 

Non-members are welcome to attend!
