This photo is from the Scott County Missouri Historical and Genealogy Society collection. The old Caney Creek School building is on the left and the Iron Mountain Railroad right of way is on the opposite side of the road. The description above is that of a teacher who taught at the school. The rails are gone today but the raised railroad right of way can still be seen.
