This photo is from the Deborah (Gibbs) Gunter collection. Dr. Wade was the son of Dr. Robert Bay Wade and Ann Henderson. Dr. Wade married Lillie Ann Proffit. They had one son named Wade, Jr. Dr. Wade practiced medicine in Benton as his father had. He served one term in the Missouri House of Representative from 1906-08. Dr. Wade and his wife are buried in the Wade plot in the Benton Cemetery.
